Based on what?
It can’t be based on his one year at Tennessee. That was unimpressed. It can’t be based on the job he did with the Oakland Raiders. Owner Al Davis ran him away from his team after bad results.
Yet, there’s Kiffin getting another great gig he hasn’t earned. Yet, many want black coaches to go on fake interviews to get practice so that no one will hire them in the NFL Getting a college job is even more impossible for a black coach.
What a joke.
The only thing worse is that the NCAA punishes kids if they want to leave schools. But if a coach bolts, no sweat. It doesn’t matter that they made the kids they recruited commit to the program.
The NCAA should make coaches sit out a year if they they leave by breaking a contract. If they are a free agent, they are free to go. That’s fair.
At some point, the athletes have to ban together to stop the unfair treatment they receive by the NCAA.
The madness must be stopped. Black athletes and coaches, especially, have to stand up and fight for their rights.
